Lj. Maksymowicz et H. Jankowski, EFFECT OF PD MAGNETIC-POLARIZATION ON SURFACE MAGNETIC-ANISOTROPY CONSTANT OF BILAYERS FEBSI PD/FEBSI/, Journal of magnetism and magnetic materials, 121(1-3), 1993, pp. 545-547
The surface mode excitation in a spin wave resonance (SWR) experiment
were used to derive the surface anisotropy energy constant K(s), apply
ing the Surface Inhomogeneity (SI) model with symmetrical boundary con
ditions. In this model the boundary conditions include also the magnet
ization inhomogeneities in the close-to-surface layer due to enhance o
f the interface magnetization caused by magnetic polarization of the i
nterfacial Pd atoms. Then the modification of magnetic properties of c
lose-to-surface layer occurs, then also the value of K(s) is changed w
hen the magnetization of the magnetic sublayer is varied.
