Abstract
The relation between the amount of p-wave in antineutron-proton annihi lation into pions at very low momenta (less-than-or-equal-to 0.3 GeV/c ) and the even or odd character of the produced pion number is underli ned. A simple calculation of the magnitude of the effect suggests the possible interest of measurements.
