Abstract
Two spectrophotometric methods for the determination of cefadroxil usi ng Cu(II) and V(V) in sulphuric acid medium are described. Beer's law is obeyed up to 100 mug ml-1 and the molar absorptivities are 2.10 x 1 0(3) and 3.81 x 10(3) L mol-1 cm-1 with copper and vanadium respective ly. The two methods have been applied successfully to the analysis of the pharmaceutical preparations (Duricef oral suspension and capsules) .
