Abstract
The evidence for the formation of two different hydride phases corresp onding to MmNi4.6Al0.4H2.2 and MmNi4.6Al0.4H4.2 in the alloy system Mm Ni4.6Al0.4 is presented. The results are based on desorption isotherms in the temperature range 293-343K and pressures up to 25 atm, and des orption by differential heating on 16-18 kg weight of the alloy contai ned in the storage device ST-90(R). In the course of its evaluation as au storage device coupled to au PEM fuel cell, the thermodynamic para meters DELTAH and DELTAS are also reported.
