Abstract
Sodium 4-acetyl-1-phenoxyalkyl sulfates are electroreducible amphiphil ic molecules. The modifications in the structure of the adsorbed doubl e layer as a function of the alkyl chain length are investigated by me ans of ac polarography (tensammetry). The adsorption study confirms th e micelle formation for some of them and the existence of mixed micell es in the presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS).
