Abstract
In recent years China's economic reform has entailed the introduction of the market mechanism into state-owned industries, and it has proved to be rather successful. In this paper a game theoretical model with this Chinese feature is constructed and analyzed in detail. The Bertra nd-Nash equilibrium is examined and government taxation on the firms' free market profits is discussed.
