Abstract
Statistical and principal component analysis have been used to establi sh some general equations relating retention parameters to molecular d escriptors of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. They allow the determi nation of the retention behaviour of a solute in micellar liquid chrom atography using lauryl sulphate, hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide an d polyoxyethylene (23) lauryl ether (Brij-35) micellar systems and a N ovapack C18 column.
