Standard enthalpies of Fe(III) and Ru(III) acetylacetonates formation
(-DELTA(f)H-degrees, kJ . mole-1) were determined by bomb oxygen combu
stion calorimetry: 1314,6 +/- 12,4 and 1054,5 +/- 8,8 respectively. Th
e enthalpies of sublimation (DELTA(sub)H) of the complexes: 114,2 +/-
1,5 kJ . mole-1 (338-355 K) and 101,5 +/- 1,0 kJ . mole-1 (358-378 K)
were determined with the help of a high vacuum device by Langmure tech
nique. Metal-oxygen bond energies were calvulated: E(Fe-O) = 131 +/- 4
kJ . mole-1 and E(Ru-O) = = 130 +/- 4 kJ . mole-1 (at DELTAH(R)(RO-H)
= 326 +/- 5 kJ . mole-1).
