We have investigated a Josephson junction consisting of an (110) orien
ted grain surrounded by (001) oriented grains. The Bi2Sr2Ca1Cu2O8+delt
a (001) oriented films with a few (110) oriented grains are fabricated
on MgO(110) substrates by the metalorganic chemical vapor deposition
method. TEM observation shows that the grain is (110) oriented of Bi2S
r2Ca1Cu2O8+delta and the grain boundary is atomically sharp. Hystereti
c I-V characteristics are observed for the sample with the (110) orien
ted grain, indicating the presence of the intrinsic Josephson effect c
aused by stacked CuO2 double layers along c-direction.
