Chlordiazepoxide treatment (2.0 and 8.0 mg/kg) had no effect on the pr
eferences of dominant or subordinate male mice for the odors of their
antagonist or unfamiliar males. The drug also failed to alter rejectio
n of novel cinnamon odor. The results suggest that disrupted olfaction
is not a major contributor to the antiaggressive actions of this drug
.
