Patients with anomalous left main coronary artery arising from the rig
ht sinus of Valsalva and coursing posteriorly between the aorta and th
e pulmonary artery are prone to sudden death. We present a patient wit
h this entity in whom the diagnosis was made by transesophageal two-di
mensional echocardiography and coronary angiography.
