The feeding habits of males and females of Ch. homalodemus showed some
differences. In the control the male consumed less than the female. T
he reluctant feeding habit of the females leads to the suggestion that
the repellent effect of NSKE lasts longer than the exposure time. A c
hoice test showed that Ch. homalodemus did'nt feed on treated cabbage
leaves when untreated ones were available.
