Mw. Brooks et Pc. Uden, EXTRACTION AND ANALYSIS OF DIESEL FUEL BY SUPERCRITICAL-FLUID EXTRACTION AND MICROBORE SUPERCRITICAL-FLUID CHROMATOGRAPHY, Journal of chromatography, 637(2), 1993, pp. 175-179
Supercritical fluid extraction was used to extract diesel fuel from so
il. Extraction efficiency was greater than 90% regardless of the organ
ic content of the soil and even after the soil had been aged for five
days before analysis. Analysis of extracts by microbore supercritical
fluid chromatography provided rapid characterization while GC-MS was u
sed for analysis of residue levels.
