Aj. Weiss et B. Friedlander, DIRECTION FINDING FOR DIVERSELY POLARIZED SIGNALS USING POLYNOMIAL ROOTING, IEEE transactions on signal processing, 41(5), 1993, pp. 1893-1905
We present a direction finding algorithm for diversely polarized array
s that is based on polynomial rooting. Using polynomial rooting instea
d of search reduces significantly the computational requirements of th
e algorithm and enhances resolution. The basic method is limited to li
near uniformly spaced arrays. However, using an interpolation techniqu
e, the algorithm is extended to a larger class of arrays. The performa
nce of the proposed algorithm is analyzed. Computer simulations are us
ed to demonstrate the performance of the new technique and to verify t
he performance analysis.
