Abstract
We discuss a new version of an existing algorithm for reordering the e igenvalues on the diagonal of a matrix in real Schur form by performin g an orthogonal similarity transformation. A detailed error analysis a nd software description are presented. Numerical examples show the sup eriority of our algorithm over previous algorithms.
