Abstract
The bulk amorphous alloys Ce-Cu and Ce-Ru prepared by dc sputter-depos
ition show a heavy fermion-like behavior, which is characterized to be
the dense impurity Kondo system more enhanced than the crystalline co
unterparts. However, the Ce-Ru amorphous alloy shows a broad maximum i
n the electrical resistivity around 35 K, suggesting the formation of
a coherent Kondo state even in the lack of the long-range periodicity
of atomic arrangement.
