Abstract
A simple monopol mass spectrometer, model MX 7304, with the ion source 1560014-T01 (Electron, Ukraine) will be manufactured industrially for application in organic chemistry only. Nevertheless, there was a need to employ such an instrument in Knudsen cell mass spectrometry. The c ombination of a monopol analyzer with a convenient high temperature Kn udsen cell is reported. The efficiency of the device has been proved b y detailed experiments. Second law heats of sublimation are given for several metals (Co, Cu, Fe, Ni) which agree well with compiled literat ure values.
