We describe a case of inflammatory and degenerative arthritis treated
with intraarticular corticosteroid injections. This led to rapid subje
ctive relief of symptoms, but inappropriate repeated injections led to
the development of Charcot's arthropathy and rapid destruction of the
shoulder joint.
