Da. Atwood et al., AN INDIUM-PHOSPHORUS HETEROCUBANE AS A NEW-TYPE OF INDIUM-PHOSPHIDE PRECURSOR, Journal of organometallic chemistry, 449(1-2), 1993, pp. 1-2
The first indium-phosphorus cubane, ([PrIn(mu3-PSiPh3)]4)-Pr-i (1) has
been prepared via the reaction of Li2[PSiPh3] with (PrInI2)-Pr-i. The
structure of 1 has been determined by X-ray analysis: monoclinic, spa
ce group P2(1)/c with a = 15.611(3), b = 25.767(2), c 22.541(6) angstr
om, beta = 96.19(2)-degrees, and Z = 4. Polycrystalline films of indiu
m phosphide have been grown on Si(100) wafers from 1 in a horizontal h
ot-wall reactor at 500-degrees-C. Compound 1 is unstable with respect
to photolysis and electrochemical oxidation; however it is relatively
stable toward alcoholysis.
