Abstract
A biocatalytic method of preparation of optically pure (>99% e.e.) ena ntiomers of fluorine-containing and fluorine-free beta-amino acids by means of penicillin acylase-catalyzed resolution of their racemic N-ph enylacetyl derivatives has been developed.
