Abstract
Asymmetric syntheses of the enantiomers of the naturally occurring atr opisomerically chiral 1,2'-linked bi(naphthoquinone)s 8'-hydroxyisodio spyrin and isodiospyrin have allowed their absolute configurations to be assigned by X-ray and circular dichroism spectral studies of synthe tic intermediates.
