Abstract
Nitrosation of chiral N-cartarnoylaminoacids with a mixture of NO and O-2 gives, with the same con figuration and in quantitative yield the corresponding alpha-aminoacid-N-carboxyanhydrides (NCA), well known pr ecursors of peptides.
