Vi. Kalikmanov, SUSPENSIONS OF HIGH-TC SUPERCONDUCTING PARTICLES - PROPERTIES IN ALTERNATING MAGNETIC-FIELDS, Journal of magnetism and magnetic materials, 122(1-3), 1993, pp. 154-158
We study the behavior of dilute suspensions of single-crystal high-T(c
) superconducting particles in an alternating magnetic field of interm
ediate amplitude value. Specific properties are induced by the strong
uniaxial anisotropy of single crystal particles. In a noninertial case
, particle rotation is squeezed in one of the zones ((pi/2)n, (pi/2)(n
+ 1)), and magnetization is a step-like function of time. In the gene
ral case, particle oscillations may result in parametric resonance. Th
e asymptotic stability area has been found.
