A. Siblini et al., DIELECTRIC STUDY OF A FERROFLUID FE2COO4 IN DIBUTYL PHTHALATE OR DIETHYLENE GLYCOL IN THE FREQUENCY-RANGE 1 MHZ-10 MHZ, Journal of magnetism and magnetic materials, 122(1-3), 1993, pp. 182-186
We present a dielectric study on ferrofluid solutions of Fe2CoO4 in di
ethylene glycol or dibutyl phthalate, from 50 mHz to 10 MHz, in the te
mperature range -160-+40-degrees-C. When a transversal magnetic field
is applied, a magnetodielectric anisotropy is in evidence. Above a con
centration limit the colloidal suspensions do not remain well disperse
d at low temperature. Moreover it seems that the melting point of a so
lution could be affected.
