Abstract
Analytic expressions for the nonlinear response of the dielectric rela xation are established. Three harmonic components are found arising fr om the application of a weak alternating field superimposed on a stron g direct field. Dispersion plots and Cole-Cole diagrams illustrate the deviation from the classical Debye theory and give interesting inform ation on molecular parameters.
