INVESTIGATIONS OF METALS IN THE LIQUID AND PLASMA STATES BY USE OF SHOCK-WAVES

The use of shock-wave techniques gives unique possibilities to investi gate liquid metals properties over a range of the phase diagram extend ing from the solid state to the vapour phase of liquid metals properti es, which were obtained by such methods. Generalization of shock-waves data on the base of wide-range equation of state is also presented.
