Abstract
Secondary amines attached to a solid support such as the Wang resin ca n be converted to the corresponding carbamoyl chlorides by treatment w ith phosgene or triphosgene, Further reaction of the resulting carbamo yl chlorides with primary or secondary amines affords ureas in high yi eld and chemical purity.
