Abstract
A compact representation is given of the electric- and magnetic-type d yadic Green's functions for plane stratified, multilayered, uniaxial m edia based on the transmission-line network analog along the axis norm al to the stratification, Furthermore, mixed-potential integral equati ons are derived within the framework of this transmission-line formali sm for arbitrarily shaped, conducting or penetrable objects embedded i n the multilayered medium, The development emphasizes laterally unboun ded environments, but an extension to the case of a medium enclosed by a rectangular shield is also included.
