Abstract
A theoretical model was developed based on the multi-phase hydrodynami cs and heat transfer principles to analyze the agglomeration phenomena in a fluidized bed with a central jet. Good agreement between our the oretical predictions and experimental data supports our understanding of the complicated entrainment, mixing and agglomeration mechanism in a fluidized bed system.
