C. Wursch et al., DIRECT OBSERVATION OF ANTIFERROMAGNETIC PHASE-TRANSITION IN FCC FE FILMS, Physical review. B, Condensed matter, 55(9), 1997, pp. 5643-5646
Spin-polarized low-energy electron diffraction combined with in situ K
err magnetometry and a model calculation indicates that a six monolaye
r thick fee Fe film undergoes a reversible transition from a room-temp
erature paramagnetic state to a low-temperature phase including antife
rromagnetically coupled planes. The fee Fe film was grown in an exchan
ge field provided by an underlying Co layer.
