Ea. Amelina et al., THE EFFECT OF DEPRESSANT ADDITION ON AGGLUTINATION OF INDIVIDUAL PARTICLES UPON PARAFFIN CRYSTALLIZATION FROM SOLUTION, Colloid journal of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 58(6), 1996, pp. 694-696
Formation of individual agglutination contacts induced by paraffin cry
stallization is recorded by direct measurement of adhesive forces betw
een paraffin-like particles (methylated glass) in paraffin solutions i
n dodecane upon cooling. Addition of Dodiflow 8 depressant impedes agg
lutination and reduces the strength of phase contacts.
