Abstract
Airborne ultrasound sensing techniques are widely used for obtaining r ange information. Research is being carried out to extend the measurin g capabilities of sonar ranging systems. The results of an investigati on are presented aimed at understanding how a single transducer can be used for estimating the inclination angle of a specular planar reflec tor.
