Polarized and depolarized continuum resonance Raman spectra of isotopi
cally pure (ICl)-I-127-Cl-35 Vapor have been recorded with excitation
from the green to the blue spectral region. The spectra have been simu
lated applying time-dependent and time-independent second-order pertur
bation theory. This together with the interpretation of depolarization
ratios has been used to get information on the excited state potentia
l functions and their specific contributions to the resonance Raman sc
attering intensity.
