Abstract
The simulation of wires is essential for the numerical modelling of ma ny problems, such as those related to electromagnetic compatibility (E MC). The Letter identifies the cause of errors occurring when modellin g wires using the transmission-line modelling (TLM) method. A new appr oach is proposed which is shown to give good agreement between simulat ed and experimental results.
