Abstract
The design, implementation, and evaluation of ALLY, a computer-based a ssociate for the human supervisor of a simulated satellite ground cont rol system, is described. ALLY's dynamic intent inferencing abilities and system control properties are described. Experimental evaluation o f ALLY compared performance of a two-person team with a person-ALLY te am in the control of a simulated satellite ground control system.
