Abstract
We describe the chemical synthesis of the 2beta-propionate-17beta-hemi succinate and 2beta-hemisuccinate-17beta-propionate diesters of anordi ol ethynyl-A-nor-5alpha-androstane-2beta,17beta-diol) and the method f or coupling them to bovine serum albumin and Affi-gel 102, in order to prepare antibodies for radioimmunoassay of anordrin. In addition, we describe the chemical synthesis of the following derivatives: 2beta-ol -17beta-propionate, 2beta-propionate-17beta-ol, 2beta-hemisuccinate-17 beta-ol, and 2beta-ol-17beta-hemisuccinate.
