Ks. Gavrichev et al., LOW-TEMPERATURE HEAT-CAPACITY AND THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF 4 BORON-NITRIDE MODIFICATIONS, Thermochimica acta, 217, 1993, pp. 77-89
A short review of the low-temperature heat capacity studies of four bo
ron nitride (BN) modifications is presented. C(p) versus (T) dependenc
es of high-ordered hexagonal and disordered (turbostratic) modificatio
ns were studied by adiabatic calorimetry. The influence of disordering
on the heat capacity of boron nitride is shown. The values of thermod
ynamic properties (heat capacity, entropy, enthalpy, and formation ent
halpy) of four BN modifications is reported.
