Abstract
The relaxation of a non-conserved order parameter after a single shot- like disturbance is studied in the framework of the time-dependent Gin zburg-Landau model. It is demonstrated that the differential equation describing the growth kinetics can be transformed into a transcendenta l algebraic equation. A late stage asymptotic solution is obtained.
