Abstract
The method of phase analysis is used to investigate the processes of c arbide formation in quenched Cr - Mo - V steel in the 550 - 750 degree s C range for aging lasting up to 3000 h. Temperature-time carbide dia grams are constructed. The carbide reactions are analyzed from the sta ndpoint of the formal theory of the kinetics of transformations.
