Abstract
The effect of preliminary superheating on the transformations of auste nite in steel 9Kh2MFA, namely, the processes of austenite decompositio n in continuous cooling and an isothermal hold, are investigated in or der to improve the technology of heat treatment of functional and bear ing rolls of heavily loaded mills.
