Abstract
Allergic rhinitis is a common, chronic disorder that responds well to treatment. Evaluation should begin with thorough history taking and be followed by a comprehensive treatment plan that includes avoidance me asures, combination medical therapy, and allergen immunotherapy, when appropriate. The management objective should be to alleviate symptoms so that the patient can lead a normal, unrestricted life.
