Abstract
After showing that TTF and alpha-chlorometadinitrobenzene form a 1:1 s alt with mixed stacks of donors and acceptors, we give a qualitative e valuation of intramolecular CT of ACH2S-TTF-SCH2A in model compounds w here A is an aryl acceptor group. No significant CT is observed. Inter estingly, the structure determination of one of these derivatives show s that segregated stacks of acceptors and donors are favoured for such a substituted TTF.
