Abstract
The responses of ACTH, beta-Endorphin, GH, PRL and Cortisol to short p eriods of cold exposure were examined in 8 male volunteers. ACTH, beta -Endorphin, GH, PRL and Cortisol secretory patterns did not change aft er short cold exposure. This result suggests that in men cold exposure for a short time does not induce significant changes in anterior pitu itary hormone secretion.
