Abstract
Sputtered neutral mass spectrometry (SNMS) and laser induced ion mass spectrometry (LIMS) have been applied to characterization of phases in the Y-Ba-Cu-O system. The results show that these techniques are usef ul tools for the investigation of phase and chemical composition of su perconducting oxide ceramics.
