Abstract
The p-type carrier doping in infinite-layer structural CaCuO2 thin fil ms was successfully done by substituting Li ions into the Ca site usin g a laser deposition technique. The lattice constants and X-ray diffra ction patterns strongly indicated that the film samples had an infinit e layer structure. However, they did not exhibit superconductivity.
