The effects of mechanical grinding on the powder of the YBaCu3O7-delta
superconductor (so-called ,,high T(c) superconductor'') were examined
. The decrease of the grain size of the powders with the increase of t
he grinding time is accompanied by the decrease of the orthorhomibicit
y of the unit cells and a decrease of T(c). According to the XRD resul
ts the degradation of crystallinity and chemical stechiometricity are
the effects of mechanical grinding.
