Abstract
A change of the reaction rate was observed for the lipase-catalysed hy drolysis of ricebran oil in a batch stirred tank reactor using immobil ized lipase enzyme as compared to free enzyme. The reactor rate was ob served to be controlled mainly by factors like temperature, pH, initia l enzyme concentration, initial substrate concentration and initial pr oducts concentration.
