SYSTEM INTEGRATION IN ROAD TRANSPORT SUPERVISION

Starting from an experience of Steria in the exploitation of freeways, this survey describes problems encountered in the field of supervisio n computerized systems which not only involve a knowledge of the syste m architectures but also require the ability to undertake on-site inte gration. After a brief functional description of the project, the seco nd part of this survey deals with the development process used for suc h systems and their associated integration characteristics.
