Abstract
A European cyprinid, Scardinius erythrophthalmus, the Rudd, has been c aptured in waters connected to the Canadian side of the St. Lawrence R iver, and specimens of a European gobiid, the Round Goby, Neogobius me lanostomus, in Canadian waters of the St. Clair River. Both are new to the freshwater fish fauna of Canada.
