Abstract
A Minke Whale, Balaenoptera acutorostrata, was seen in Button Bay, nea r Churchill, Manitoba on 31 July 1990. This represents the first repor t of a living Minke Whale in Hudson Bay. Two days later a small pod of Killer Whales, Orcinus orca, was seen in a northern part of Hudson Ba y.
